How has training at Elite helped you become the person you were meant to be?

I took a crossfit break for about a year and a half and during that break, my weight skyrocketed while my confidence took a nose dive. I decided I needed to make a change so I sought out a new gym and came across Elite. I thought I loved my former box until I came here. The community at Elite is like none other. The athletes are all amazing, the coaches are supportive and encouraging like nothing I've ever seen before. I have yet to meet someone at the box that isn't friendly or motivating. Being part of a community like this 5+ days a week truly changes who you are and how you see yourself. I'm happier, stronger, and healthier!

What adventures, events, trips, races do you have planned?

My fiance, James, and I love to travel but we are in the process of buying our first house so we've put our plans on hold for a while. We close at the beginning of June so that in itself is quite the adventure. We are also attempting to plan our wedding. It's been placed on the backburner with the house but we are hoping for sometime next year.

No June Jorts for me, but I am hoping to do one of the other in-house competitions later in the year.

What would you do and where would you go if time / money were not object?

I'd take a year-long vacation to travel! Greece is on the top of my bucket list as well as a visit through all the national parks!

Fitness -
all the gymnastics! better endurance and more speed! also stop being afraid of boxes to do those box jumps!

Professional - Still trying to figure this one out. I've been throwing around the idea of going back to school for my Master's degree. Not sure what I'd specialize in. But I'd like to have a more solid and fulfilling career under my belt.

Personal - stick to a balanced diet! Spend more time outdoors with my dog. Generally to just stay active, have fun and live life to the fullest!

Something that most people don’t know about me: I like to crochet. I don't do it nearly enough but I always enjoy starting new projects - finishing them is another story.
