How did you become a part of Elite CrossFit?

A long story short: I suffered a pretty nasty injury in 2011 and was let go from my previous box. I reached out to all the boxes in San Antonio and Jeremy was not only the fastest response in HISTORY (less then a minute), he was also the kindest to me. He, along with the community of Elite helped me recover from injury and find a new home. I have never looked back since.

How has training/coaching at Elite helped you become the person you were meant to be?

Elite has given me a platform to work on my skills as a coach. Jeremy has grown Elite in to a wonderful gym with many platforms for a coach to see what their talents are. I have been able to wear many hats and see where my strengths lie and what areas I need to work harder on to evolve. I love to learn and grow and having the support of this community to get better, drives me in pursuing more knowledge to better serve all of you. Slowly with time, I will be the Coach, trainer, woman I have always dreamed up.

Something that most people don’t know about me:

I use to compete in Yoga and got 9th in my region. I trained hard, about 20 hours a week of yoga in a hot room. My signature moves was full camel, in a kneeling position I could bend backwards and touch my head to my heels and finger tip stand, a basic L-sit while on my finger tips. I love yoga and always will. I now have adopted a more balance routine between lifting, crossfit and yoga to keep me healthy and enjoying movement.
